CMLE Appoints Chemistry Expert

Cambridge Major Laboratories Europe (CMLE) has appointed Dr. DirkJan Vermass, a highly experienced chemist, to lead the company’s manufacturing operations as it expands capacity.

Dr. Vermass joins the company from Organon (now part of Schering Plough), where he was responsible for managing all the cGMP kilo labs for the past 10 years. He bagan his 34-year career with Organon as a process development chemist before moving into a more senior role, where he designed and oversaw the construction of new GMP kilo labs, along with the development and implementation of QA and SHE systems.
